Open (open to all): 5-SS. TL: game/60. EF: $30 rec’d by Jan 31; $40 at site. USCF membership required.  PZ: 1st – 3rd $200 + trophy, 150, 100; U2000 $75; U1800 $75.  RDS: Thursday 7:30 PM or Friday 7:30 P.M.; Saturday 10:30, 1:15, 3:30, and 5:45. 

Amateur (U1600): 5-SS. TL: game/60.  EF: $20 rec’d by Jan 31; $30 at site. USCF membership required.  PZ: 1st – 3rd $140 + trophy, 100, 60; U1400 $50; U1200 $50. RDS: Thursday 7:30 PM or Friday 7:30 P.M.; Saturday 10:30, 1:15, 3:30, and 5:45.

Reserve (U1000/unrated): 4-SS. TL: game/30. EF: $10 rec’d by Jan 31; $15 at site.  USCF membership not required.  PZ: 1st – 3rd trophies. Eligibility determined by TD. RDS: Saturday only, 10:30, 12:15, 1:30, and 2:45.

Please bring a chess clock (digital preferred).

REGISTRATION: Thursday or Friday on-site Open and Amateur, clubs open at 6:45 PM, RD 1 at 7:30 PM. Saturday (all games in Rochester) all sections, 9:00 – 9:45 AM; RD 1 at 10:30 AM. One half-point bye available in RDS 1 – 4.  Re-entry with a half-point bye for RD 1, $20 Open and $15 Amateur.  Unregistered players arriving after 9:45 AM on Saturday will receive two half-point byes for RDS 1 & 2 and will be paired in RD3.

SITES:  Thursday, Feb. 2 Chess Castle, 1302 Second Street NE, Minneapolis, MN (RD 1 only) or Friday Feb. 3 Peace United Church of Christ, 1503 2nd Ave. NE, Rochester, MN.  RDS 2 – 5 at Rochester site.
