Wisconsin State Grade Level Championships

February 25 and 26th , 2005



Location:   Marian Center for Non Profits

                               3211 South Lake Drive Saint Francis, WI 53207



Format:     6 round Swiss

                     13 divisions,  Kindergarten through 12th Grade

                     Time Control:     Rounds 1 - 5, G45;  Round 6  G60



Schedule:        Friday       Payment  & Registration            4:30 to 5:45

                                               Round 1 6: 00

                                               Round 2 7:45

                            Saturday    Round 3 9:00

                                                Round 4 10:45

                                                Round 5 12:30

                                                Round 6 2:15

                                                Awards 5:00



Awards:     25  individual awards at each grade level.  Trophies to top 3 and medals to remaining 25.   Three team trophies awarded at each grade level.



Entry:         $12  per  player  before Friday ( midnight)  Feb 18th

                        $15 per player before  Wednesday( midnight ) Feb 23rd

                         $ 25 after Feb 23rd and on site registration.

Bring:   Boards and clocks if you have them.  Chess notation required  for grades 3 and above.



MASCA and USCF Ratings:   Grades K - 8 will be a MASCA rated event.  Grades 9 - 12

will be USCF rated event.



Grades with less than 16 participants will be combined with other grade levels.
